God created the first man and the first woman; He continues to place His fingerprint on every child born today. He has specific plans for each soul and has equipped them with a unique blend of skills, talents, dreams and passions. You are born loved into a world of hate. No matter what happens you can always return to the love of your Father. He crafted you and He cares for you. There is nowhere you can run from His love, no place you can hide from His gaze. He is with you at all times and in all circumstances. God wants nothing but good for you and longs to see you fulfill the purpose He instilled within you before birth. These are the facts for every person ever born. It is true when we embrace His love, and it is true when we reject it. It is true when we praise Him for our blessings, and it is true when we blame Him for our pain. We may change depending on our situation and circumstances, but God never does. He is constant and sure. He is trustworthy and longs to collaborate with you as you live out your days.
Humans have a unique and ridiculous tendency to lash out at those who love us the most. You see it in marriages and in our relationships with our families. Perhaps we act this way because deep down we assume those who love us most will always forgive us. God gets blamed for much of the evil that occurs in our lives and on our planet. We lash out at the only One who loves us with an unconditional love. No matter how angry we become or how hard we shake our fists, His love for us remains. We blame Him for our failures and when bad things occur in our lives. We blame Him when we are sick, but neglect to praise Him when we recover. We have allowed the only thing that is truly good in our lives to be twisted into something we abhor. The God who created you, the One who carefully shaped you into the person He dearly loves, becomes the scapegoat for your bad decisions and every tragedy in your life.
It is illogical to think that a God who is defined by goodness, love and mercy would be responsible for the evil in our lives. There is one, however, who revels in our pain and delights in inflicting us with disease, frustration and loss; Satan is evil through and through. He knows nothing but greed, selfishness and pride. He seeks to destroy anything and anyone that might bring glory to God because Satan desires all the glory for himself. We live in the midst of a spiritual realm where the forces of good contend with the forces of evil. God plans good things for your life and equips you with everything you will need to live the life He created you to live. Satan delights in destroying those plans and convincing you that you are weak, insignificant and irrelevant. He knows if you were to recognize who you truly were inside, you would have no choice but to praise and honor God for His kindness and grace. Since Satan cannot compete with the power of God, he turns his focus to you. He inflicts you with all sorts of trials and suffering. Then, in a coup de grâce, he actually convinces you that God is to blame.
Satan has been crafty from the very beginning of time, and he continues his deception to this day. You need not be a victim of his evil ploys. You were created as a beautiful individual with marvelous gifts and talents to share with the world. Deep inside that person longs to break free, but Satan has bound you with lies and blinded you to the truth. He knows that if you knew the source of your troubles, you would despise him and turn to the God who loves you and longs for your return. Because of this, Satan works diligently to convince you that God is to blame and that you have nowhere to turn. Your desperation keeps you from seeing that God is the only way out.
Don’t be deceived; God is not to blame. Years of misinformation will not disappear overnight, but if you will turn to God and ask for His help, He will give you the strength to overcome the lies that have darkened your eyes. He loves you and waits for you to call. Cry out to Him today and He will answer. God is not the problem, He is the solution. Return today to the one who loves you more than life itself. His arms are open, and He is waiting.
